Keith D. Seekford
Keith is the President of Moore Clemens and Company, Inc.
a family owned independent insurance agency located in Leesburg, VA. Keith has
been very active in community activities including but not limited too: Vice
President of Loudoun Golf & Country Club, President of the Loudoun Chapter of
Virginia Tech Alumni Association and Hokie Club, Member of the John Marshall
Bank’s Advisory Board, Leesburg Kiwanis Club, former member of the YMCA of
Loudoun’s Finance Committee, elected to the Jefferson Savings & Loan Advisory
Board and a Member of the Loudoun Chamber of Commerce.
Keith specializes in commercial insurance and bonding,
overseeing the Commercial insurance operations of Moore, Clemens and Co. His
past insurance industry affiliations include: Director of the Professional
Insurance Agents Association of Virginia, Member of the Education Committee for
the Commonwealth of Virginia’s Professional Insurance Agents Association, Member
of the Brethren Mutual Insurance Company’s advisory board and member of
Harleysville Insurance Company’s Advisory Council. He is a member of the
Independent Insurance Association, the Professional Insurance Association, the
Society of Certified Insurance Counselors, and the Chartered Property Casualty
Underwriters.
Additionally, Mr. Seekford has earned the Certified
Insurance Counselor and the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriters
designations. He is a graduate of Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State
University (Virginia Tech) and Loudoun County High School. Mr. Seekford and
family attend Grace Episcopal Church.
Kevin D. Seekford
Kevin is the Vice President of Moore,
Clemens & Company Inc. and has over 20 years experience with the Firm. Through
Kevin's 20 plus years he has extensive experience in working with our clients,
identifying and analyzing their exposures to build client specific comprehensive
insurance plans which factor in limits, coverage sufficiency and personal needs.
Kevin leads our personal lines insurance operations, which offers individual
homeowners, automobile, recreational vehicles, boats, umbrella, and inland
marine insurance policy plans. He has a business degree from Fairmont State
University. Kevin holds the professional designation of Certified Insurance
Counselor (CIC).
Kevin grew up in Leesburg and graduated from Loudoun County High School. He is
married and has one daughter. In his spare time he enjoys reading, movies and
golf.
Kurt D. Seekford
Kurt is the Treasurer of Moore, Clemens & Company Inc,
located in historic downtown Leesburg, VA.
Kurt specializes in property and casualty coverage
for business, farm and personal lines. Additionally, he has earned industry
specific designations of: Certified Insurance Counselor, Agribusiness Farm
Insurance Specialists, and Accredited Customer Service Representative. He has
been with the agency since his graduation from East Carolina University where he
earned a degree is business management.
Kurt played football at East Carolina, and was a 3
sport athlete at Loudoun County High School where he graduated in 1988. In his
spare time he enjoys athletics, the outdoors and spending time with his wife
Jennifer and their 4 children. Kurt and his family attend Destiny Church and are
very active in the children’s schools and many extra curricular activities.
Michael Morris
Mike is a native of
Loudoun County, growing up on the family farm in Purcellville. After graduating
from the Blue Ridge School, he attended Ferrum College. Mike began his
professional career in the banking industry, most recently serving as Vice
President and Branch Manager for a local institution. In 1997, Mike opted for a
career change and joined Moore, Clemens & Co., Inc. concentrating in personal
and commercial insurance coverage’s.
Mike assists individuals
with their personal needs including auto, home, life and health coverage’s.
Mikes helps many local organizations with their commercial insurance portfolios,
including contractors and their bonding needs. In addition to serving the local
community, he has accounts that are multi state. Mike earned the Certified
Insurance Counselor designation in 2004.
Mike
is married with 2 children. He has served on several local boards and is active
in multiply community functions. A former foxhunter, Mike enjoys the equestrian
sports.
C. Fred Kohler - Middleburg Office
Fred opened a property and casualty insurance agency in 1968, then in 1975
he began to specialize in horse mortality insurance for the next 16 years. He
joined Moore, Clemens in 1991 to write all lines of insurance. Fred earned a
BA from the University of Richmond.
Fred has had extensive experience in the equine industry including, past Senior
Judge in the American Horse Show Association, 20 year director of the Virginia
Thoroughbred Association and past president and director of Virginia Equine
Education Foundation. Fred received the Virginia Horse council 1988
distinguished Service Award and was an Equine Insurance lecturer at Cornell
University, University of Maryland, University of Kentucky and Virginia Tech.
Fred is married and is a member of Emmanuel Episcopal Church in Middleburg.
